1. how does it feel to have been doing this for over 30 some years now
2. if you play to the fans, and not the record company, how does that effect your shows
3. if one of you is having a bad night, how does the rest of the band fill in to make the show better
4. do you ever use a setlist
5. how long do you think you can still go out and make these shows the experience they have been for so many years
6. how do you pick the songs you will play
7. how can you tell while improvising, where you want a song to go
8. do you ever take requests
9. Since you have such an eclectic fan base, do you ever go out and meet any of them
10. were do you find your influences to write music
11. Do you ever explain to people where and what the songs mean, or where they come from
12. do you find yourselves trying still to make things fresh out there
13. or do you just go play ?
14. where does the name Grateful Dead come from, I have heard rumors you picked it out of a dictionary?

16. how to you find ways to make the songs sound fresh and different on any given night, since you dont play the same set-list ever
