Mr. White is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and began his career starting a company called Basement Tapes which merged physical books with internet game play to create an interactive experience for middle school children. At Penn State he created his first company called BeerMe.com an advertiser-supported, internet social community for Penn State students that included a ride-share system, classifieds service, and local news. Mr. White is now the The big cheese at his company, the man  behind the curtain

QUIRK BOOKS- INFO ON COMPANY

So in the process of trying to find a company that I would like to work for, and to find a contact at those companies, I decided I wanted to reach out to a company called Quirk Books. If you have never heard of them, I will include a link to their website but I bet you have heard of them and not realized it. So what they do is they publish books, and they also take books and create fun and interesting way for kids (kids book division) and put them online in fun ways at least in the kids area, for you to read or interact with you books. They published " Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, and also are the company behind " Pride and Prejudice and Zombies". I bet most people have seen the movie version of the first one. Quirk Books is a start up company located in Philadelphia, and the President went to Penn State University, just like I do. I actually met him about 24 years ago at PSU. Anyhow, you should take a few minutes and check out their website and see what else they have, that might be of interest to you.
